Unfortunately there are lots of instances where people can no longer look after their little companions and have to put them up for adoption.

Little dogs make great companions. They are easier to manage and require less work than some of the larger breeds.

They still need lots of play, exercise and love. So if you are able to rescue a small dog you will be making at least two lives better – yours and your new dogs.

 

Have a search through our thousands of pets listed and you will surely find your next companion.

Here are a couple of points to remember when you do your searching;

1. We encourage people to put a fee on their pets for adoption – s search for pets $250 or less
2. Do not pay any money until you physically see the dog – there are scammers out there
3. Most rescue dogs come with stuff – beds, collars etc
4. Rescue dogs are usually house trained which will make life a lot easier
5. Do your research – please do not rescue a dog and then realise you can not handle the responsibility.
