This is a breed of dog that was developed in Germany. The Boxer is a member of the working group and is known for its distinctive head. Boxers were originally docked and cropped, though not everyone follows this nowadays. They have a hard bite suitable for hanging on to prey.
The boxer has a shiny, smooth coat and is short- haired. There are folds that run from the root of the nose downward to both sides of the muzzle. Fawn and brindle are the most frequently seen colors. These dogs usually have a white underbelly and white on the feet.
Boxers are known for their love and loyalty to their masters. Having a bright and friendly temperament, they are distrustful of strangers and can be brave and determined when aroused. They are intelligent animals and along with their cleanliness, it makes them highly desirable to have at home. Active and strong, they enjoy exercising. They are not aggressive or vicious by nature, but have a protective instinct toward their family.
