If you are you are obviously a great person with a kind heart who understands it is much better to look for a Rescue Dog for sale rather than a puppy for sale.
Every shelter sells their rescue dogs, the RSPCA charge around $300 for a rescue so you will always need to pay something for any rescue. We occasionally get free dogs listed but we do not encourage it. It is widely know that we value things more highly the harder we had to work to get them. Also most rescue dogs for sale come with a lot of stuff – bed, collar, lead etc.

The easiest way to do your search is use the box on our home page – enter the state and breed preference if you have one and in the price field put a maximum price of $250. You should come up with many options.
Please don’t take this decision lightly as for you it is something nice and fuzzy but for the dog it is their whole life. Make sure you are prepared for a new addition to your family and that you will not change your mind in 6 months. Every week in Australia over 5,000 pets are put down (killed) because they can not find someone to love them. By rescuing a dog you are saving its life.
