Sam is a very sweet natured dog. Unfortunately I took him in about 2 months ago after his family couldn’t offer him the attention he needs and now an unfortunate series of circumstance changes have occurred and I am no longer able to offer him the life he deserves. He loves a good play at the dog park and making new dog friends so I do believe he would benefit from having another dog buddy at his home. He is very boisterous and bouncy and from experience with my own son I would recommend a house that is an adult only house or with children no younger than 10 as he can be a bit too much for small children. He does need attention so someone home more often than not or who could possibly take him to work with them would be great. He can bark when he is anxious of new noises so feeling safe and secure is a must. He needs a large space to get his energy out also as he has lots to burn and regular daily walks is a must. He is toilet trained and hasn’t had one accident at my house. He has always slept inside at night and once he understands your routine will take himself to bed when you say.
He is still very much a young dog and loves to chew his toys and if you’re not careful, shoes, so as I have learnt, keep your shoes away from him at least until he learns they are to be left alone.
He honestly is a great dog and very smart, with the right training and time he will be someone’s perfect companion.
