I’m currently a carer for my father who is severely unwell and due to recent discoveries and changes to his health I’m unable to provide Rocky the amount of time and care he needs to thrive. We have had him since November 27th when all was good but as the months have gone by my father has deteriorated more and is unable to care for himself which has required a lot of my time and attention towards him. Rocky is a good boy who understands basic obedience (Sit,Come,Stay,Paw,’Bring the ball’, Leave it, and is currently learning heel)He is also beautifully crate trained and is potty trained. Rocky will need to be in a household that will be able to dedicate time and attention to him as well as to continue his training into adolescence. It saddens me greatly to have to do this but I want to do right by him by giving him to someone who is able to give him everything he needs. Preferably a home with no kids under 5 and no cats. He has lived previously before with another dog with previous owner but since being with me has had interactions with our neighbours dog so will need slow introduction to household dog. He is very toy motivated (Tennis balls specifically) and loves to fetch. Rocky is in the process of learning lead pressure and learning to walk on short lead (Is not used to both of these yet) so will need training on his walks. Rocky will come with crate, lead/harness/belt buckle, slow feeder and water bowl, his toys and other items.
